Faith Statement

Seeds of Genesis has spiritual roots. The name itself was inspired by the creation account found in the book of Genesis in the bible, where God spoke a beautiful, whole, and complete world into existence. The name Seeds of Genesis can be understood as Seeds of Life. Here, we create environments and teach lessons that result in seeds being planted into the lives of the individuals who join our community. These life-giving seeds are designed to bear fruit of healing and wellness. We believe in speaking life into people just as God spoke the world and all life into existence and then rested.

We welcome all people from all walks of life, regardless of their spiritual background, sexual identity, race, or the like. Many of our groups, classes, and events will include spiritual references rooted in the Christian faith, although our groups are not designed to specifically preach or teach about the Christian faith unless otherwise stated. We are wholeheartedly committed to embodying and modeling the acceptance and love of Jesus Christ.

We strongly align with 1 John 4:16 which says,

“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” English Standard Version

With that said, there are certain spiritual practices that we do not align with and will not promote in our organization, including any of the following, as well as other similar practices:

• Astrology

• Numerology

• Psychics

• Kundalini Yoga

• References to the “Universe”
